Family of 4 looking forward to camping adventures Details: My husband, myself, and our two kids started camping about 3 years ago. Our daughter is 8 and our son is 6. We love being outdoors, swimming, fishing, and rock hunting. Home Town: We are from a small town north of Chicago, so far north it is almost Wisconsin, called Lake Villa. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We are new boondockers, but look forward new experiences. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are a bit of a DIY family. We make our own bar soap, wine, and jams. We have several different fruit trees that grow on our property that we use to make our jam and wine.

The hosts greeted us when we pulled in. Such a nice family. They gave us directions to their boat dock and how to walk around the pond in their backyard. They allowed us to chill on their back deck and pick cherries from their trees. A steal for only $10/night which includes 30 amp electricity and water! Thank you for hosting.
