I love living here. Details: I am from NE (New England, nowhere near London, England 🙃) I have lived in Goldendale for 15 years. I have traveled across and around the country several times. I do not use campgrounds. I am a quiet person usually keeping to myself. I like to read, knit, sew. Home Town: At Home Favorite Boondocking Locations: Rest Areas; in a family or friend’s driveway. I just learned this is called ‘Moochdocking’ 😂 Skills or Expertise to Share: I have many and am learning more as time passes; I know how to wash dishes, do laundry, rake leaves, shovel snow, etc Ask, I will tell you what I know.

This was our first Boondocker’s Welcome stay and it was relaxing and enjoyable. Our host, Lucille, was very kind and welcoming and we’re planning a return visit next year.

We loved our time at The Quiet Place. It lived up to it's name and was so peaceful and quiet. We were there with our dog Jack who enjoyed the running space and our good RV friends. Lots of fun little excursions in the area to explore and the star gazing was amazing. The host was very nice and was available for questions as well as some tips on areas to explore. We loved our time there and will most assuredly be returning again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Quiet Place last night. Lucille was such a gracious host and made us felt welcomed even when we arrived later than expected. The place is beautiful with many tall trees, very quiet at night that we fell right to sleep after a day hiking around the Gorge. Thank you so much for having us at your beautiful home Ms. Lucille. We would stay there again when in the area.

I would have to say Lucille's quiet place is probably the best Boondocker's welcome I've ever stayed at. It truly was a quiet Place, lots of beautiful trees, wildlife, saw a bunch of enormous wild turkeys! Lucille is a sweet and kind person. I have made a lifelong friend.
