We live on a quiet road with no neighbors. There is a fire pit out in back yard that just yells for company. Beautiful night sky views and very peaceful. We do live on top of a mountain so there is quite a bit of elevation gain but roads are paved. Suggested Local Attractions:Windham mountain resort, Hunter Mountain Resort, Golf Courses, Hiking trails

This Mountaintop Retreat is a treat & Jay & Bryana are the sugar on top! We fit perfectly in their driveway with our little teardrop trailer. There is a slope but it's no biggie to achieve level. Jay had some great tips on a couple of potential hikes along the way into town as we were arriving from the east. The Windham Path was a really nice easy loop on such a beautiful day. We spent a wonderful evening getting to know them & swapping favorite places we've traveled. The stars are amazing against their clear dark skies at night! Plus being well away from town, nice & high up in the mountains in September it was extremely quiet & the perfect window-open sleeping weather. We would definitely stop here again when we come this way & hopefully we'll cross paths with Jay & Bryana on our future travels too!

I had a great two night stay up in the mountains at Jay and Bry’s place. They were great hosts and helped me pick some amazing hikes in the area. I would definitely stay here again if I was passing through.

The host was not home, but was very communicative and allowed us to use the driveway. The driveway was a little pitched, but was in a very nice and quiet location. We really appreciated being accommodated in the winter. Would return!

Experienced and full of knowledge and hospitality. Enjoyed a fireside chat after dinner. Lovely setting in the mountain quiet.
