We are both retired professionals. Vickie a nurse, me a fire chief. We spend about 30% of our time since 2016 on the road. HH, BW is the only way to overnight enroute to our next destination. We became a Boondocker Welcome host in May 2022 and have really enjoyed meeting new folks as they travel through southwest Idaho

We had some troubles before arriving and this was the perfect stop to breathe a little. Super nice folk and communication was great. They let us know from the get go their expectations regarding our stay. I appreciated that.

You will not find better people that Alan and Vickie. We had a wonderful time sharing stories and camping locations over a glass of wine. The site is very easy to access. Everything you need is right there. We are keeping this spot on our list of places to stay.

Had a Medical emergency and had leave in a hurry. Called the host and they said Don’t worry we will gather what you left behind and store it until you can return. Now that was so helpful under what was a very stressful situation.

We stayed one night at Rancho while passing through the area. Owners weren’t present, but their communication was quick, simple and effective. The location was perfect…. rural setting far enough away from the freeway to be completely quiet, yet conveniently close to a travel stop for fuel etc. Next door were goats and highland cows. Lovely! Now for the the parking spot……It’s incredible! Easy access, just drive around behind shop and pull up alongside it facing back towards the driveway you just entered from. We’re about 61ft overall including the toad and there was ample space to maneuver and park without unhooking car. The hosts have clearly paid attention to details with regard to travellers needs. Parking was on clean, level asphalt, jack pads were even provided to protect the asphalt! Water, sewer and 15/30/50A hook ups are right at the parking spot. Everything was clean, neat and well located. The entire property was immaculate. Excellent, succinct communication. This was, a simple, hassle free stay in an ideal setting for a quiet refreshing “catch up” night. Would definitely stop there again when travelling through the area.
