For spring, summer and fall of 2024 we will have very limited availability and that availability may only open on short notice. This due to the nature of our employment and the requirement for us to travel regionally on very short notice. Property is on the shores of Lake Bras d’Or on Boularderie Island just outside North Sydney. The property has gorgeous views of the lake, but the RV Boondocking spot has limited views. RV Spot is in front of the righthand (of two) garage doors as shown in the photos. Suggested Local Attractions: Cabot Trail, Baddeck, Newfoundland ferry terminal and Sydney are all within 30 minutes driving.

This is Boondockers Welcome at its best. Our host was so gracious and the property just lovely. We detoured from St. Ann's, en route to the Cape Breton Highlands, with the pretty drive and wonderful stay being worth the side trip. Thank you!

Amanda and Michael were generous hosts, took no donation for electric, but gave us an incredible view and welcoming reception! Our 2 night stay was quiet and peaceful. A seafood market, Gillis’?, was a friendly quality market where we bought fresh seafood and cooked it at nearby park (Grove’s Point) on the Bra d’Or Lake. Hope to stay again on our way to Newfoundland! (they are very near the ferry). Thanks for hosting!

This was a wonderful place to overnight. Very quiet and with spectacular views. The hosts were most welcoming despite their recent illness. Highly recommended.

Experience started with great communication prior to visit. Upon arriving we received a gracious welcome, information on area, level parking, electric, water, storage for bikes, and a gorgeous view of the lake. First morning, Amanda and Micheal alerted us to breaking news on closures on Cabot trail allowing us to plan around. Cannot think of anything they could have done to make us feel more welcome and prepare us for a great visit of the area.
