Retired Military Details: David and I (Sharon) met in the military while stationed in Norfolk, VA. The only state we’ve yet to visit is Alaska. We recently (August 2021) traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and saw our first black bear on the trail. We enjoy traveling in our Roadtrek, meet other encouraging campers to share experiences and travel tips. David plays Ukulele and I enjoy singing as we worship together. David is a musician, photographer and videographer. Lately Sharon has done pet sitting and Eldercare. My passion is growing in my identity in Christ, learning to love one another see people healed and made whole. Also I enjoy healthy cooking and making my special “carrot/banana muffins. Home Town: Our home is in a small town on the east coast of Florida midway between Jacksonville and Miami. We like that usually there’s not a lot of traffic. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Just starting this adventure in Boondocking. Skills or Expertise to Share: David has a lot of experience with photography, art and music. Sharon was a drug/alcohol counselor in the military and continually learning about relationships.

Overall a good overnight stay; the hosts David&Sharon are kind and welcoming. You will hear the trains going by & wild peacocks, but it wasn’t bothersome for us.

We had a lovely overnight stay. The neighborhood is beautiful and charming. Our hosts were very gracious and welcoming. We met them when we arrived and also they came out to chat with us in the morning before we left. Super friendly and great communicators.

David and Sharon are such wonderful hosts! I enjoyed hanging out in the morning in David’s art cave and listening to him play the banjo ukulele. I had a wonderful blessing on my way out, thank you so much!!! 🚐

This is a great location to make a stop over. The hosts are super nice and accommodating. Great parking spot behind their house. Beware though. If you are a light sleeper, there are a few very large trains that come through the night. They didn't bother me at all as I sleep heavy but they are very loud. I kind of liked it but they are loud.

David snd Sharon were the best hosts. We deeply appreciate the chocolate and the breakfast, it was delicious! They helped us with everything we needed. Filling up our water tank, letting us throw away trash, and just being awesome and nice! Thanks!
