Our private 30 acres is wooded and a quiet spot near the Kerr Reservoir and Buggs Island. We are less than 4 miles to the nearest public boat launch, which gives you access to over 50,000 acres of lake. 20 minutes from Clarksville, the only lakeside town in Virginia. This area has great fishing and hunting opportunities. We have a wide gravel driveway with a pull through spot that can accommodate the largest rigs. There is running well water and a 50amp electric hookup, we do charge $15 per night, located at the end of the pull through. There is very little cell service. We do have high speed internet down at the house.

Married, living the COVID dream on 30 acres in Red Oak, Virginia. Close to the Kerr Reservoir/Buggs Island. Have two doodles who keep us active. We used to own a 35 foot 5th wheel. Looking for something to drive instead of tow. We do like to glamp and go! Rivers and the mountains are our favorite places to visit.

Stayed here for a night and it was very easy to park and leave. Parking is pretty flexible. Our host was very helpful and I enjoyed a couple conversations with her.

Relaxing stay, and very nice hosts! Our night was quiet and definitely peaceful. The night sky here is especially dark. Plenty of room to park. When you come down the driveway, the pull-through is to the right.

Just a short jaunt off of US15, Laconia Hof is a lovely, quiet setting. Pull through access was easy enough for our fifth wheel. Note, the 50amp electric hookup is toward the end of the pull through so an extension cord will be helpful. Sabrina and Peter are more than gracious hosts, showing us their gorgeous BnB (the kitchen, OMG!) and sharing a glass of wine. Their dogs are large but absolutely adorable. We had a wonderful stay and will hopefully visit again!

Great site, easy directions. History greeted us and was warm and welcoming, even loaned us an adapter for 30-50 amp service. Such a plus to have electric and water at the site. We would definitely visit again, the solitude was glorious.

We were greeted upon arrival by hosts and adorable dogs. Great site and so peaceful! Enjoyed walking on the country roads. As others mentioned, no cell service, which was good to be disconnected for a day! Thanks for letting us stay.
