We have a spot in the backyard of our home in Santa Cruz that can accommodate a van or RV up to 20'. The space is enclosed behind a rolling gate so it is private and secure. We are in town so there will be typical city noises. Our home is about a 20 minute walk to downtown and about a 40 minute walk to the beach. The back yard is pet friendly and secure. Suggested Local Attractions:Many hiking opportunities, biking, Boardwalk and Wharf, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Harbor, golf

No smoking on property, no generators, keep the back gate closed, we prefer to help guests get situated when they arrive and when they leave because the area is small and can be a bit tricky getting in and out. Please arrive before dark.

We are a retired couple who love to travel in our sprinter van. We have been campers for many years and just got home from a ten week trip as far northeast as Newfoundland Details: We love to meet new people and connect with locals when we're traveling which is why this boondocker idea really resonates with us. We live in a lovely area and we know how hard it is to find a place to park here without being hassled. Most of the state parks here are booked very far in advance so it makes traveling without an itinerary very challenging. We've lived in Santa Cruz for about 40 years so we know the area well and would be happy to give advice if it is wanted. Our most enjoyable travels have included meeting locals and we look forward to being both a host and a user.

Donna and Doug are the sweetest. I enjoyed our stay with easy walking to anything you need! My pup and I really enooyed their peaceful back yard and felt super safe with the gate closing us in at night. Definitely recommend if your vehicle fits their requirements. Thank you!

great place in Santa Cruz. It’s so hard to find places in a city like this. we had a wonderful time and the hosts were so kind to us. Would definitely come back and stay again!

we stayed for one quick night, but wish we coulda stayed longer. doug & donna were very friendly and willing to work with our skoolie. it was a tight parking space for us, but they made it happen! anything over 20’x8’x12’ wont work here. quiet and safe stay. thank you donna & doug!

wonderful stay! safely tucked into a enclosed driveway. the hosts were extremely kind and accommodating for our less than 2 hour request to stay the night due to a snag in our travels. would absolutely stay again

writing this a bit late but the hosts were very nice and even offered us wifi. everything was great and location was perfect!
