Hi Travelers! We are Wendy and Dave. We have been hosting travelers in our airbnb for a few years and wanted to extend a welcome to those traveling in self contained vans/campers and small rvs. Our place is for adults only, sorry no kids/infants and we don't allow pets. Our parking spot has a lovely view of the lake and you are welcome to walk out to our little sandy beach.

In downtown Onekama. An easy walk to restaurants and shops. On the shore of Portage Lake where I spent the happiest days of my childhood 70 years ago. Wendy, the host was welcoming and generous with with the amenities of the facility. She and her mother were a gracious and enthusiastic audience while l played my fiddle in the evening.

Awesome view with wonderful hosts. Definitely we will return to this quaint, beautiful lakeside boondocking stop.

We enjoyed staying here. Smaller vehicles only FYI. Be sure to check the vehicle type and length restrictions. Wendy was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Showed us exactly where to pull in and park. The spot we were in was along side a small building 3 or 4 apartment-like residences, not a problem just FYI. There is access to the lake and a dock for fishing or just to sit and relax on beach chairs. Not the fanciest of stops on the HH/Boondockers trail but don’t pass up if you need a spot to stay. We really appreciate folks like Wendy and Dave that graciously open up their property to RV travelers.
