We had a nice couple of nights at Setting in the Woods. The spot is level and easy to access. Do not let your GPS take you any way other than PA 56 Ours took us a different way and had us go thru the covered bridge. It didn't work out so well for our AC on the camper. The positive was that our host was very helpful and accommodating in helping with our unfortunate situation. We would love to visit again if we're back in the area so we can take advantage of the attractions that we wanted to see.

Setting in the Woods was very easy to access and located right next to a covered bridge. About 15 minutes from downtown Bedford.

Great nice, quiet, level, safe spot to spend the night. Jeff was very accommodating and very easy to talk to, very interesting conversation. Would diffenately stay there again. The covered bridge next door to his house was a big plus.

Jeff and Donna were very gracious host. Beautiful, peaceful property with a stream and right next to a covered bridge! We took the covered bridge tour that Jeff recommended. We had a great time, very scenic. Thank you again for your hospitality, Jeff and Donna, we really enjoyed our evening on the front porch with you. My husband will never forget your yellow coupe. We would definitely stay here again.

Jeff and Donna were very hospitable and made our family feel welcomed on their quiet country property. We travel in a 32’ Class A, and had no problem accessing the lot. Once we parked, Jeff provided a packet of local attractions. This being our first time in Bedford County, we were suprised by all of the unique things to do. There are 14 covered bridges in the county to tour, and the Flight 93 memorial is a short drive away. We were fortunate enough to visit during the ABC Classic weekend. The local firefighter fundraiser had over 250 classic cars in their car show along with good food, live music, carnival rides, vendors, performance competitions, and one of the best firework displays I’ve seen. In the morning we were awoken by the birds singing. After coffee and breakfast, our family took a hike on Jeff and Donna’s hiking trail. The trail head is directly next to the RV lot, and follows along a creek. It was the perfect way to start our morning before we hit the road. We scheduled our stay as a one night stop on our route to Pittsburgh. It was such a memorable stay. We would have loved to stay longer and experience more of Bedford County. We will definitly return in our travels, but we will not make the mistake of scheduling this stop as a resting spot. Bedford County is a destination location for all RV travelers looking for the unique beauty hidden between the major tourist attractions across the country.
