Our little spread west of Mt. St. Helens might be just the short stopover you need while traveling through Southwest Washington—we’re a few miles off of I-5 in the stretch between Seattle and Portland. Mt St Helens os about one hour to the east . We’re still working on the ideal boondocking spot, but in the meantime, our driveway is wide and reasonably flat. If you need a place to pull off overnight, it’ll do! There’s also a trail through the woods to stretch your legs.

My wife, Sandy, and I purchased a Nissan Caravan and are in the process of building it out as a camper to enjoy in our retirement. We would like to travel US, Canada and Baja, slowly, revisiting places we've driven by in the past and driving roads we've never seen. Our little farm, west of Mt St Helens, might provide a wonderful stop while traveling through western Washington--we're just 4 miles off the stretch of I-5 between Seattle and Portland. We're still working on the ideal boondocking spot in our driveway, but if you need a place to pull off for a quick overnight, then we've got it now! Our driveway is large enough to accommodate most any size RV. Power and water can be made available, if absolutely necessary. If you enjoy a walk in the woods our property has a mile (+) long trail. I am a retired electrician and Sandy spent her career supporting public education. Our Texas Rescue dog is a love and our 18-pound cat is an impressive specimen. You are welcome to relax on our porch and enjoy the view of Mt. St. Helens (weather permitting).

Wonderful spot to spend the nite. I can only imagine the beauty of the setting in the summer. Quiet, peaceful and warm hosts made for a perfect stay.

Quiet wide drive in with level parking by an old homestead barn/workshop. Can also pull through. Very kind couple who offered electricity (none needed) and good info on the area. Next time we would love to stay an extra night and see the Mt St Helen’s historic area too.

Barry and Sandy were great hosts. Plenty of room on the driveway. Barry hooked us up with power. Hoghly recommended.
