Smith Road boondocking spot was great. signed up for 3 nights and enjoy every one of them. Not much interaction with host but only because they are both still working and obviously busy people. what conversation we did have was pleasant and helpful. Surprisingly the small town of Cairo had some great restaurants and other fun stuff to do, especially the Zebulon Movie Theater (oldest in Georgia). Thomasville was another town closeby that was fun to explore, particularly the “Big Oak” tree. Parked where we were, close to wooded area we expected the mosquitoes to be bad, but we hardly saw any so we sat outside every evening enjoying the cool breezes. Thanks S&M for a great stay and the tip about other spot. Good luck getting into travel mode yourselves.

I recently joined Boondockers Welcome and have been pleased so far. This is another great spot. Easy place to park on a beautiful piece of property. Chris and Mary Beth were both very nice and welcoming. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

got there and nobody answered the door. Not a problem as the parking area and hookups were very easy to figure out. We went into town with local friends and returned back to spend the night. got up in the morning and pulled out. Never interacted or saw another sole.

What a wonderful peaceful spot. We stayed in our 41’ 5th wheel with no issues. We had been warned to hacl on so we came expecting that. was easy enough to do from rod across from the droveway. The hosts are super sweet and kind and I could have stayed up all night chatting with Mary beth but i knew she had work the next day. This place is a must stop if you are traveling through this part of the country and you want a safe place to stay.
