UPDATE 3/4/2023 We are located in southeast NC, approximately 15-20 miles from area beaches. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The boondockers site is firm level ground near the end of our driveway (at the back of our property). If you want electric and a patio with picnic table please make your reservation at one of the following: https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/north-carolina-someday-lane-kk9hlvko?adults=1&children=0 https://thedyrt.com/camping/north-carolina/someday-lane We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter". Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby. The book contains our WiFi password. Please leave us a note about your stay. Suggested Local Attractions: Local Atlantic Ocean beaches are Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach (15-20 miles away with public access at each beach). We are also located approximately 45 miles from Wilmington, NC and 40 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC

Location
Access Road Conditions: Our 3.5 acre property is flat and well drained (under most circumstances) but we have a gravel driveway with a somewhat narrow access with the paved state road that serves our property. Longer RVs may have some concerns with making the 90 degree turn off the pavement to our drive. However, once on the property we have ample room for smaller rigs to pull forward out of camping area then make a u-turn and return down the driveway. Please find our Camper Guest Book located in the little library under the pine tree with concrete bench nearby. Inside is the WiFi password. Please leave note about your stay before you leave.

Proud Grandparents Details: My wife, Monnie and I have been blessed to share our eternal lives with one-another. Many years ago we learned that we cannot wait to "live our lives" when we reach "retirement" so we enjoy each day to the fullest. Some friends couldn't understand when we moved to southeast NC without any plan for our future. We are just happy to be alive each and every day that we are here. Home Town: Southeastern NC. We call our 3.5 acres of flat, well-drained land Someday Lane because someday all our dreams are going to come true. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We tend to be State Park guests with water and electric. Have stayed at many in NC and SC. Probably our favorite is the site we host: Someday Lane. Skills or Expertise to Share: I (Greg) am a former small business owner who now has a day job and my wife (Monnie) is an Appointment Specialist at a Spa. She loves to cook, bake, and crochet. Our lives are not perfect and we are completely comfortable in our humanity. We enjoy people (even though I like to tell too many stories) and are considered very friendly.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Someday Lane. The hosts are very gracious and made sure we had a pleasant stay. They are very focused on providing a nice location by continuing to update and provide amenities. One of the nicest BW sites we’ve visited!
