Fifty plus years ago, my new husband and I started camping. Fifteen years in a tent, 15 in a pop-up, and then the travel trailers and fifth wheels came faster. We loved showing our kids and then the grandsons some wonderful places. State and National Parks supplemented by an occasional commercial park were our preferences as we explored this great country. Today, I travel in a small motorhome and have enjoyed serving as a camp host for at least a month each of the past 11 years.

Stay Royal was our first stay using Boondocker’s Welcome and we had a wonderful experience. Our host, Denise, was wonderful through every step of the process and she really made our visit enjoyable! The site was exactly as described on the website with the amenities listed - spacious, easy access to the main roads with a countryside feel, the calendar for the site was easy to use and Denise was very responsive to our request. We highly recommend this site if you are traveling in the area and we would absolutely stay again! Thank you Denise!

Star Royal offers a great place to regroup and rejuvenate. After a brief courtesy conversation with the host upon arrival, i was able to relax and regroup for a couple of days. The parking spot is level with scenic views all around. The host provided 15 AMP hookup for $5 per day plus one complimentary fresh water tank fill. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the host leaves you to your own ptivacy after the initial conversation.

The host was very welcoming and was there to guide us in the driveway. Denise gave us a book to read about the history of this area, I enjoyed learning about how the limestone from this area shaped our country to what it is today. The road in has a few hills that have blind spots so go slow. A few vehicles had to stop while I backed in the driveway, everyone was patient. Swing out wide when you leave to steer clear of the mailbox. Cheap propane at the Marathon nearby. Denise gave my daughter a toy she really enjoys. Thank you so much!

If a host gets better than this..we would think we died and went to heaven...such hospitality, kindness time and patience has not not been found at our MANY, MANY Harvest Host stays for our 3 month journey that began on June 1

Wonderful place to stay! Denise was so accommodating and was so great to talk to! She has lots of experience camping and shared so much information of the area with us (had a whole basket of things for us to look at). This was a last minute decision and we are so glad it worked out, she was such a wonderful person. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again! Loved it!!!
