We are located roughly 12 miles north of I94 and Alexandria, MN on the west side of Lake Ida. We are not directly on the lake but can see it from our driveway. There is a fabulous winery/brewery/woodfire pizza venue 15 minutes away and we are 20 minutes from Alexandria which has numerous excellent local restaurants, another brewery with a great kitchen and many outdoor activities. We currently have water available for you and 15 & 50 amp electric. We have our 41' 5th wheel parked next to the garage but there is plenty of room in front of it and in the driveway.

Location
Parking will be in front of our unattached garage with plenty of space for a TOAD or your tow vehicle next to your RV . Will need to either back in or back out as we do not have room for a pull through. At 40 feet, the end of your RV will be close to the road but not on the road. NOTE: the primary picture with grass next to the garage is not current but I can't figure out how to change it. We recently had this driveway redone as the other 3 pics show.

We live a short distance (12 miles) north of Alexandria, MN. We are both recently retired (spring of 2023). We have 2 dogs named Honey & Stella that are among the sweetest dogs you could ever meet, both rescue dogs. We had a permanent campsite north of Bemidji, MN for 10 years before we moved from the Grand Forks, ND area to Alexandria. We hade 3 different campers on that site with the last 2 being "Destination Class" RV's. We recently bought a 40 foot 5th wheel and plan to do the snowbird thing starting this fall and we are very excited about that! We love to have camp fires and have a nice fire ring in our yard that we would be more than happy to share fires with you.

We had a FANTASTIC stop with Dan & Jan. They were so communicative and patient with our long delay in getting there. The space was easy to acces & needed minimal leveling. It was perfect for our 1-nite stop on the way to Alaska. So thankful for fellow RVers who are willing to share their space and are accepting reservations this early in the travel season.

Very nice place, level parking pad, lots of room and electric if you need it. Beautiful area and close to a lake that looks very inviting. We wish we could have stayed longer!! 😊 Super nice people, good communication and so helpful on arrival. Mark this spot as a favorite for our next trip. 😊

We stayed here for 2 nights. It is very easy in and out, very safe and extremely welcoming! Jan and Dan were outstanding hosts. We sat out and had a fire with them and we all shared some great stories. Alexandria is a nice small town. We ate excellent pizza at The Depot, took a picture with Big Ole (O-lee) and went to the Rune stone Museum. We highly recommend them all. We hope to be back in the area just so we can stay here again!

They had just had the gravel pad leveled, and they had 30amp available for us. We shared a campfire and let me cook over their fire pit. We were late coming in, and he was watching for us with the house lit up o welcome us- and he came out with a flashlight to guide us in. An amazing stop, we’ll be back!
