Our home is in a large retirement community called Sun City Festival (like a 5 star resort). Many amenities are available. A very nice dog park is in the community only a half mile away. A nice and private courtyard is available most days, or our back patio is available as well. We are located 10 miles outside of the city of Surprise. Very quiet with no freeways close by and no train or airplane noise. Suggested Local Attractions:Winter baseball camps, hiking, dining, etc. Our community has an incredible swimming pool, golfing, pickleball, tennis, bocce ball, etc. A gorgeous location.

Retired couple enjoying life in beautiful Arizona Details: Retired postal worker since 2010. My wife and I are living in a very active retirement community that offers nearly every amenity you can imagine from a 5 star resort. Swimming, dining, golf, pickleball (24 lit courts!), tennis, etc. Home Town: Buckeye, Arizona. Well, much closer to Surprise than the city center of Buckeye. Very close to several baseball winter training camps! Favorite Boondocking Locations: Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Colorado. Skills or Expertise to Share: Pickleball (I teach beginners)! Hiking, bocce ball, biking and chilling with friends.

We needed a place to stay for a night and Bruce welcomed us last minute. Parked in his driveway and walked our dogs around the quiet neighborhood and he even gave us directions to the communitys dog park which was great. also let us use their wifi which is always nice!
