We are 6 miles from town. There is a grocery store, hardware store, restaurants, fairgrounds with a dumpsite in town. There are wild horses in the area that you may see. We are close to a Scenic Byways drive into Nevada. Suggested Local Attractions:Designated Dark Sky area for awesome star gazing. Scenic Byway Rockhounding in Nevada Fishing and hiking In summer a Saturday Farmers Market

Access Road Conditions: Paved road turns into 100 feet of graded dirt road before our gate. Swing wide at the gate. 1/4 mile driveway is rocked. You will be able to turn around your RV. Please park on the east side of the barn. The water and electric is there and you will have privacy. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Park your tow vehicle next to your rig. You will be off the road.

A Long Time RVing family with a nice spot to camp Details: We are a semi-retired couple living in the far northeast corner of California. We spent our employment years in the SF Bay Area, but are happy to call this quiet spot home. We have a 28 foot travel trailer that we like to take south in the winter and to the wine country in the summer. Home Town: We hang out in Surprise Valley California! Favorite Boondocking Locations: Our boondock in the wine country is a favorite. We also like the desert in Arizona. Skills or Expertise to Share: Boondocker host can troubleshoot most RV problems and is skilled in building and repairs.

A wonderful stay, with wonderful hosts! Watching the moon and planets at night and seeing the sunrise in the morning, it cant get much better than that. Enjoyed this stay very much for your generous hospitality! Thank You!!

Wonderful hosts, gorgeous scenery, peace and quiet, star-gazing, what more could you ask for? I'm very thankful I found them and it was very gracious of them to invite me. I wouldn't have traveled this route if not for finding this exceptional place.

If you are looking for a true out of the way experience, this is it. If you are looking for quiet blue star filled skies ( if there is no fire smoke), this is it. If you are looking an an A+ host friendly, outgoing and just fun to share, this is it. We had a delightful experience. They even offered free Electrical hookups too. Their dog was great too

Exceptional hosts! Gained two new friends. Super quiet, best sleep in a long time. Private parking area behind the barn. Enjoyed the 93 mile scenic loop the hosts told us about. Their lab Juno was very friendly. Will return given the chance.

We had a lovely one-night stay at BlueSage. Our hosts were delightful and welcoming. Had some good conversation before settling in for the night. Heard and then saw what appeared to be flocks of cranes at dusk in the distance- very cool! Took a nice walk on the property in the morning. Beautiful, quiet place with views in every direction and beautiful night skies.
