Private drive, near Skyline Drive and multiple state parks and National Forests. Hiking trails and kayaking lunches just down the road. Site is in the woods, with lots of wildlife all over. The deer will often walk right next to the camper. You can sometimes hear fox, owls and racoons hunt at night, and millions of spring peepers, peeping during rain. While our location is technically a subdivision, it's fully forested, and feels like camping.

House Rules
Treat the area as your own, take trash with you if more than a small bag. I have small dogs and chickens, so pets must be kept on leash, and always attended. Friendly dogs can use the fenced back yard while off leash as long as they are not allowed to dig or harass my cooped chickens. Check with me before, so I can make sure my dogs aren't let out.
Location
Please read all info before requesting Parking is next to our home, on a not so level gravel driveway. (my trailer requires two levels of the plastic leveling blocks) Lots of space to park tow vehicles or toads. Driveway is narrow, very long, and must be backed down from a 90 degree turn. It’s off of a low traveled gravel road. Backing experience is absolutely required. There are narrow spots and low hanging branches from mature trees. I’m not worried about broken branches, but I’m worried about broken AC shrouds, so proceed at your own risk if your rig is over 11 feet tall. If I'm here upon arrival, I can always spot and remove branches as needed. My 33ft travel trailer can make it, use your best judgement from there.

we really appreciated being able to stay here on our travel home to MA from FL. we were especially grateful to be able to plug into power. As we were coming in we saw a deer run across the property which made our dogs very excited to be there! Thanks for your hospitality.

This is a great little find. I just continue to be amazed at how cool and gracious these hosts are. We as an RV community in a way are like family, and we need to keep it that way! This is a great spot in a beautiful part of Virginia. The profile and description is accurate. It's not highly difficult at all, but if you're not good at backing your trailer, this could be a challenge for you. I absolutely love it! I would definitely stay her again coming through this area. Thank you so much, Melody!!! : ).
