A little bit of country in the city: 5 acre hobby farm with domestic animals like sheep and chickens as well as roaming wild animals like deer and foxes. Our yard is also set up with a swimming pond and fire pit. Boondocking is available on a side gravel driveway with lots of room to park and turn around but no sewage or electrical services. We're 12 km from the city centre and in between Kildonan Place mall and St Vital mall. Tinker Town and Grand Prix Amusements is just down the road and there are paved bike paths nearby. City transit buses run a feeder route during morning and afternoon rush hours.

We're new owners of a used Class A RV. Our plans are to retire and live fulltime in the RV in 2025. In the meantime, we'll start exploring with short trips and attending rock, blues and folk festivals. We don't have pet's as Fereidon is allergic. We currently live in on the outskirts of Winnipeg and are also hosts for Boondockers Welcome on our hobby farm.

We explored the town while there by car. Wanted to bike into town but after checking bike routes found it was all chopped up and no direct routes. The stay overnight was great and quiet. Very level spot.

What a wonderful place to hang out while exploring the city of Winnipeg. We were warmly welcomed and supported. Anne even shared some of her garden bounty. Anne and Fereidon are lovely hosts.

Lots of room for a big rig to pull in, maneuver & park. Nice quiet area. Really really big fire pit. Lol, thanks Anne & Fereidon. Good luck with your future retirement plans.
