We are generally home through Labor Day for fellow RV'ers to stay in our back yard. There is plenty of room for at least two RV's and possibly more as long as they pickup after themselves and leave a neat spot for our next guests. This is a senior neighborhood so no parties. There is one electric hook-up for guests to use. It's a 20 and 30 amp plug so you will need a converter if you require 50 amp. Suggested Local Attractions:We live on the Crow Wing River and Lake Placid. This is a tourist area and there are many attractions in the Brainerd area to visit. We are only 11 miles from Brainerd.

Kathy is a retired waitress ---- Mike is a retired automotive shop owner Details: Our home is on the Crow Wing River just west of Pillager Minnesota. We have room for a couple of RV's at a time for an over night stay. We have no sewer or dumping facilities since we are on a private septic system. We can arrange for water and electric hookup in summer if needed. The road to our home is blacktop so no dust to contend with. We invite travelers to call us for directions and space availability to park their RV in our back yard and enjoy their stay. We enjoy boon-docking when we travel too. Pets are welcome on leash as long as they are quiet and picked up after. This is a senior neighborhood so it is intended to be reserved and quiet. Home Town: Our home base is about 2 miles from Pillager, Minnesota on the Crow Wing River. We have a total of about 2 acres that front on the river. It is a quiet senior neighborhood that is off of the highway by about a mile as the crow flies. Generally it is quiet here. We travel a lot so much of the time campers have their own space. We ask that folks call ahead (218-829-7323) to let us know when they expect to arrive and we can let our security know someone will be near and about. I have given my cell phone and the only time that I may not answer is if we are camping out of the reach of service. Even if we are traveling, we can direct campers how to find our home base and exactly where to park and access electric. Favorite Boondocking Locations: The mountains and Coyote Howls in southern Arizona. Onegume Federal Campground north of Deer River, Minnesota. Big Sandy Federal Campground north of McGregor, Minnesota. The second weekend of July we go to Iola, Wisconsin to the Old Cars Show and camp at Lake Emily near by. Skills or Expertise to Share: Mike is a retired auto tech and is into old Thunderbirds. Kathy is an excellent cook. There is an outside fire grill on our back deck too.

We had a wonderful stay even though our hosts were out traveling. The place to park the rv was an easy back in and very level. They have electricity if you need it. We so appreciated the fact that they allowed us to stay while they were traveling. I would highly recommend this spot if you are in the area.

A nice quiet night passing through MN. Mike will ask you to call on the way, but his “shortcut” was just the same as googles directions. Unnecessary and a tad confusing. Other than that it was fine, weather was hot and Mike offered power and water. Thank you Mike !

Mike is a great guy and it was a great place to stay. Electricity is easy to use although not on a breaker. The water is handy there although it was turned off and we didn’t need it. there’s an osprey nest with chicks on the way into the property.
