We're a 5-acre country farm site in Southcentral Minnesota - within 4 miles of I-90 and about 30 miles west of I-35. We don't actively farm but they do all around us. We have a large garden, three cats, a 2-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd, and chickens. It's just a simple, quiet spot to spend a little time.

Location

We have a lot of different areas for parking so you can decide where you want to be when you get here. You can stop on the gravel road (you'll be fine, it's good and wide) and we'll walk around and show you your options. We are about a mile and a half down a gravel road. There should be plenty of room to unhook and park towed vehicles also.

Husband and wife team. Husband retired after 43 years of State and Federal service; Army National Guard, then Active Duty Navy (20 yrs), then Department of the Navy (20 yrs). Hobbies are woodworking and refining our 'new to us' 5 acres of heaven. Wife is also retired and crafty herself. Her hobbies are quilting, sewing, making soaps and candles, and canning anything she can figure out how to can. We are most likely traveling with Baxter, our 2 year old Minnie-Aussie and probably a couple of ticked off cats (Fred and Tutu).

Keith and Tina are very hospitanle. Met us i. their driveway in the pouring rain to guide us to our choice of spots. wEish the weather had been better as it would’ve been nice to sit outside and chat. When we left in the morning, it was with fresh eggs and a heartfelt goodbye. If we are ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again.

Keith and Tina were a wonderful, helpful, cordial couple. We were greeted with homemade cranberry rice bread, that was absolutely delicious. Fireside chats in the evening were wonderful. If we ever come this way again will definitely try to stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, even though it was only over night, the hosts could not be more accommadating. Later in the evening sitting on the porch of their home talking with them and laughing at the shennanigans of their pup Baxter. Good people wish i could have stayed another day.
