Hello! Our home is situated on 2 1/2 acres in a residential Hampton Virginia neighborhood 1 mile from Buckroe beach. We are about 30 minutes from Virginia Beach. Our driveway has a cement extension about 60 feet long which is perfect for most class A, B and Class C RVs UNDER 30 feet long. PLEASE NOTE : if you are NOT in need of electric and / or water we may move you to another area on the property..... most likely a grassy wooded area. I would like to keep the RV pad open to travelers that need water / electric for their travels. PLEASE READ - if your TOTAL rig is longer than 30 feet ( this INCLUDES TRAVEL TRAILERS WITH VEHICLES ) you WILL NOT fit down the driveway. 30 feet is MAX combining EVERYTHING you are driving and/or pulling We understand that many people travel with dogs. Please inform us the breed of dogs you have WHEN you request a stay. unfortunately we will NOT approve any dogs that our on a banned list due to insurance liability. Check in / arrival time can be anytime after 1pm, and departure time is no later than noon.... we need some time to prep for new arrivals.

No Open Fires outside. No Generators after 9pm. We do have a 30/50 AMP box is available for small fee. Quiet time is 10pm to 8 AM Pets must ALWAYS be on a leash when outside of your RV - RIG.
Location
We DO live in a residential neighborhood. the biggest obstacle is making the first turn into driveway from main road. Once you make the initial turn onto driveway, there is plenty of room to back into your spot. any RV under 25 feet should have no problem at all. we recommend contacting us upon arrival and we will be glad to help you with all parking directions. PLEASE NOTE!! any rig / travel trailer/ towing vehicle.... etc with a COMBINED LENGTH of more than 30 feet WILL NOT fit down the driveway. If the calendar is reserved for the dates you need, please send a message. We do have room for 2 separate RVers IF 1 is NOT USING THE ELECTRIC / WATER. If you do not need utilities, we may have you park in a grassy area of the yard.

Hello Fellow RVers! Chris and Holly here. We are in our 50s but heading to our 60s too fast! we just purchased our first RV in April 2022. Class C AXIS 27 foot long. we used it to take a 3 week vacation cross country to California and back. We visited 24 states in 22 days, a little rushed but we saw some wonderful sites. More trips are definitely planned in the future. Here in Hampton Va, our home is situated on 2 1/2 acres in a residential area. the driveway has an extended 60 foot area we call the "RV pad" We are happy to share that space with other RV travelers. We are originally from Pittsburgh PA. Chris moved here many years ago and works on Langley Air force base. I ( Holly ) moved here in 2018 and work at Newport News Airport. We are very outgoing and mobile working in the yard, but usually asleep on the couch by 9pm.... smile PLEASE NOTE : our driveway can ONLY accommodate rigs / campers up to 30 feet TOTAL ..... including your towing vehicle. anything longer will not fit down the driveway.

A little oasis close to beaches and some much else! Holly and Chris were so gracious and accommodating! And their  stewardship for the wildlife around their home was touching.

We spent 5 nights staying in this lovely location. It was a pleasure getting to know fellow nature lovers Holly and Chris. Parking was great for our 25’ Leisure Unity on a concrete pad with electric, water and garbage can, along with a table and chairs! There is an $8.00 dump station 15 minutes away at Fort Monroe. It is a historical site with nearby Casement Museum. No need to go through the short tunnel(as I squeezed through with the RV). 😱 Parking is available before that and you can take the walkway over. It was also the perfect location to visit Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown which are approx. 1/2 hour away. There is still so much we would like to see and do, including taking a walk to Buckroe Beach. We hope to be able to pass this way again and visit with these great people and surrounding areas.

We enjoyed a one night stay in quite neighborhood on a level spot with electric and water hookup. Holly and Chris were very kind and it was very interesting to see their passion for the squirrels and other wildlife. We would recommend if you are in the Tidewater region of VA.

We spent 5 great days visiting family in the area. Holly and Chris were wonderful hosts. Will definitely stay here again when we find ourselves back in this neck of the woods.

This is a wonderful stopover! Holly & Chris are amazing hosts!! We enjoyed watching birds and squirrels playing while we drank our morning coffee.
