Host is great! I don't feel he charges enough for electricity. Quiet. Close to town, if visiting someone. Hope to stay again!

Host was very communicative by email, unfortunately I never met him. This was an easy place for a stop and a quiet retreat. Nothing fancy and nothing to look at but the location is easy to get to. There is plenty of places to eat or shop just down the road.

When my RA raised its ugly head while at Charlie’s Camp I contacted the Turkey Barn, apologizing profusely but explained I needed to get to a Rheumatologist. We are looking forward to making a visit in the future as we had been treated so graciously when planning our original stay. I feel awful about having to cancel but my RA had flared so badly I was not able to walk even using my walker….

Easy access off the road, shady spot under a huge oak tree worked great for our truck camper. Host wasn't present, he said you can tight turn around the tree, but we didn't opt to try it. Always nice to have hook ups when the weather is hot and humid. Would stay here again.
