The host was great about our last minute plan to get out for the weekend. He welcomed us, and got us situated on his fun property. This location was close to many hikes in the Umatilla Forrest and Clarkston. we would stay again.

Not sure what is going on here, but Rainbow Man did not respond to our initial request for a stay or the email I sent directly to them while on the road.

The Rainbow Man was an excellent host. He spent time with us, sharing information about his fabulous collection of eclectic buses and trucks on his property, he also took the time to share a unique path to get to Tacoma the following day which ended up working out perfectly for us. It was so fun to see and my husband was in heaven! The property was quiet, except for a little road noise, and was even inhabited with a family of deers. All in all a fabulous stay.

Hobo was a blast! The collection he has amassed over the years is incredible! Me and my trailer were tucked between another six or so vintage trailers, including a bookmobile from the 60’s! With a view of his two “American Giants” as they’re called, it’s like spending the night in the coolest junk yard ever. Hobo has tons of stories re: his travels and his treasures. He’s definitely created a reason to stop in Polmeroy!

This would have been a great place to have stayed but the weather wasn't cooperating, it was in the 100's and we opted to move on to a full hookups site. Hobo meet us and was very understanding about the hot weather and our need move on. We would love to return on another adventure to check out all his cool collection.
