House Rules

We have an electric gate that we leave closed for the safety of our pets and livestock. We'll coordinate with you to make sure the gate is open for you when you need it. We have residents who have live video calls for their work and we ask that children/dogs aren't screaming/barking outside their windows during these times. But it's a big property with plenty of room and time for running around. 🙂

Location

We are down a country road that is only about 1.5 lanes wide. When vehicles are passing, the neighbor with the sturdiest vehicle dips off the side to let the other pass. When necessary, one person backs up to turn into a driveway to let the other pass. All our neighbors are used to this routine, including for moving our own RVs around. Our driveway is through a 16ft wide gate which does somewhat limit the total length of RV we can accommodate. Our driveway is a circle which typically limits the amount of turnaround needed. The driveway is gravely, and we'll do our best to park you in a level-ish spot.

Hey there! :) I live in Tennessee in a log house with my extended family that includes 2 other adults, 4 kids, 3 goats, and our dog, Mamba. I have a Scamp camper that I take on the road sometimes, and I'm also a host and love to welcome travelers here on our land we call The Wallow. I sometimes travel solo, sometimes it's just me and Mamba, and sometimes I take the kids. I like traveling to regional Burning Man events, and love planning long, epic road trips.

This was one of the best HH sites so far, beautiful setting, easy in and out. i have a big truck and 26 ft camper i managed but any bigger and it would have been difficult. my only regret is I couldn’t stay longer.

Spent a great, quiet night at the Wallow. Host was very helpful and quick to respond. Perfect size for our van and would stay again if were back in the area.

Lovely quiet place to stay. Easy to find and access (just take it slowly).
