We are on the southern shore of Georgian Bay on Lake Huron in Thornbury, Ontario? we have access to the Georgian trail which is a great for hiking and biking trail which runs between Meaford and Collingwood, and we are close by to the Bruce Trail, for some great hiking on the Niagara escarpment. There's kayaking on the Beaver River. Suggested Local Attractions:We are close to the Bruce Trail, Wasaga Beach, and the Blue Mountains, near the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay. There’s a great selection of restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

We love sharing and helping others in pursuit of this lifestyle. Home Town: We live in Thornbury, ON on the shores of Beautiful Georgian Bay. Our town is a 4 seasons recreation Mecca, but don't tell anyone.😄 Access to the Bruce Trail is a big drawing card to our area. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Newfoundland is wide open for those who want to boondock. the folks are friendly and the scenery spectacular. The BLM lands in the SouthWest US are great. Skills or Expertise to Share: I'm pretty handy at all things mechanical and electrical.

Erwin and Linda were excellent hosts. they have a lovely home which is just 5 minutes walking to the main street in Thornbury. They gave us lots of recommendations for things to do in the area and shared travel tips for some areas we plan to visit later. We really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!

i was warmly welcomed and made to feel at home and welcome... a real boondockers welcome for sure, will plan on visiting them again as they have a great location for hiking, biking and just sight seeing,, thank you very much... tony

We had a great stay. Excellent hosts and location. Good weather and exceptional fall colours! Hosts are great to chat with and very knowledgeable about the area and RVing. Highly recommend a visit!
