Country setting – the 30 foot parking site is an easy back in, mostly level, concrete surface with 30amp or 20amp, as well as water hook up and Wifi. The site is shaded early morning and late afternoon. We ask that your total rig be no more than 30 feet. At this time we are only able to host class B & C RV's due to our HOA. We also ask that you not extend your awning (slide OK) and also that you do not use chairs or a BBQ grill near your rig. We do offer a private, shaded patio just for our guests, which includes a table & chairs, Wifi and plenty of room to set up a BBQ. Our Boondocking location is a great overnite stop for any BW member traveling North or South on Interstate 81. Suggested Local Attractions:In our opinion, a short overnight visit at “Travelers Rest” does not leave room for sightseeing. It is our recommendation that our guests just relax and enjoy our peaceful, country setting. We will be happy to share our firepit, sunsets over the pond, bright stars and if you time your stay just right, you get deer and turkey as a bonus. Pets: One dog limit, no aggressive breeds, must be on leash at all times and waste picked up. Cats must remain inside RV at all times due to severe allergies. Trash: guests must take all trash with them when they depart. Arrival Time: Please DO NOT arrive after sunset & on the morning of arrival please text a 2 hour arrival time window. Smoking: No smoking on property. Depart: No later than 9:00 am the next morning.

Access Road Conditions: We are located less than five miles off I-81. All roads are well paved for an easy in and out. Please Note: we are located in the country and none of the roads have lights. DO NOT ARRIVE AFTER SUNSET, as it would be a stressful situation.

A happy, well-traveled, retired, married couple. Details: Former full-timers who built a home in the foothills of the East Tennessee Mountains. We have traveled to all 50 States, most Canadian Provinces, as well as numerous trips abroad. Swapping travel stories with our RV friends is a favorite past time. We are indeed “foodies” and many of our travels are planned around places to eat. We are both non-smokers. After our daily chores we enjoy a glass or two of wine as we watch the sunset over the pond. A slower pace, BBQ & Bluegrass music are some of the reasons that we settled in this area. Home Town: We both grew up in Northern New Jersey and have relocated several times throughout our careers. We now consider Greene County, TN our home. We love to wander in our RV but also look forward to heading home to Travelers Rest.

Our hosts were super friendly and had everything we needed for a great night’s sleep. A very peaceful property with a beautiful sunset! A perfect place to lay your head.

Beautiful setting in Northeast Tennessee. Very easy setup cement pad. Power available. Travelers Rest were very helpful. We definitely would come back.
