Enjoy peace and quiet away from it all while being close to many local southwest Michigan attractions. South Haven is 8 miles away, Saugatuck/Douglas 18 miles, Modales Winery and Virtue Cider 9 miles, Kal-Haven bike trail just 3 miles. We are happy to share our 20+ acres with fellow RV'ers. We have two power pedestals with 30 and 50 amps. Plenty of room for your tow vehicle, but you will want to un-hook before coming up the driveway as the transition from the road to the driveway is moderately steep. No water or sewer available, but the Kal-Haven Outpost (3 miles away) lets you dump for $10.

Please clean up after your dog and limit the garbage you put in my small dumpster by the barn.
Location
Please unhook your tow vehicle at the road. I tow a jeep with my 31' class C and I will scrape sometimes at the transition from the road to the driveway. Site one is pull in, but back out. The woods will be on the drivers side and your awning will open to a clearing. Site 2 is "back-in" and you'll need to do a 3-point turn before backing in. I will meet you to help you. Site two is wooded, and your awning will be toward the clearing, about 100 feet from site 1. The sites are very private with just a glimpse of my barn through the trees. Our house is 1,000 feet away and if schedules work out you are welcome to join us for happy hour in our gazebo overlooking the Black River.

this was a beautiful private place with a nice hook up. It was raining, but it was still very pleasant quiite secluded.

What a fabulous place to stay! Nice long driveway and had no issues with our FR27RE. Plenty of space! Loved the recommendation to visit the South Haven Farmers Market! We will definitely be back!

Anyone who likes shopping and wineries, peace and quiet and a wonderful host, should stay at Black River Reteat. We did and had a fantastic time there. We hope to again in the future.

A perfect place to stay. Site is located amongst the trees in a beautiful, quiet rural area. Good distance from the house so you don't feel like you are in the way. Easy drive into South Haven and close to Cideries, Breweries, Wineries and Farmers Markets. We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciate Vince and Jeanie's hospitality
