What a wonderful place to come to after a day of driving. Absolutely beautiful peaceful, calm river to chill out and beautiful grounds. The hosts were not there but she and I had a wonderful conversation on the phone as if we were sharing a glass of wine together in person! Highly recommend. Do not miss if you’re in the area. Could’ve stayed there forever.

From the moment we arrived our hosts made us feel welcomed. We enjoyed sitting on their deck talking about theirs and our travels. We felt honored to share their homemade wine with them. Watching the sunset over the Missouri was spectacular.

I am a solo fulltime camper traveling the Lewis and Clark Trail in an 18 foot long van conversion. I have solar and water on board and can manage without hookups. The Wjzmans are a delightful retired couple and very gracious and accommodating. I originally planned for two nights, but loved the place so much I requested and additional night. Ideally located for my touring of the historic sites near Washburn, their home overlooks the Missouri River. They are RVers and have a lovely Class Super B motorhome. Communications with the hosts and directions to their home were excellent. I enjoyed chatting with them and would love to visit again. I stayed in June 2022.

This was a great stay right along the Missouri River. They made sure that we had everything we needed even getting some extra things for the kids to do. Thanks for the awesome stay!
