My campsites, located at 2906 Jonathan Creek Road which are about 3 miles off exit 20 and Interstate 40 as you head into Maggie Valley. If you get off Interstate 40 at exit 27, coming from Asheville. you will turn right onto Johathan Creek Road at the Redlight before entering Maggie Valley Inext to a Dollar General Store. You will go about 2 ½ miles and turn right into my property at the signs listed below. My sites owned and are run by a retired Federal Officer who was a full time RVer for 15 years and still goes on extended camp outings from time to time. My one acre two RV sites is close to Maggie Valley, NC. Can fit up to a 45’ rig with or without toad with pull through parking for both sites. Easy in and easy out with great dining available in the nearby cities. Walking your pets on leash with plenty of walking areas, however, you are required to pick up after your animal(s) per the local codes. Dry camp with no sewer, or water, however I have one 50 amp and one 30 amp RV electric hook up available for $20.00 a night if needed and requested and paid upon hook up. Generators are OK to use as needed. During the summer months, I will have water available for topping off your potable water if needed. In the winter, I turn off the water lines and have them drained and winterized due to freezing. My place is about ten miles from the Catalooche Ski Resort and they make their own snow when there is no snow in the forecast. My place is in the Jonathan Creek Valley which is flat and in a mountain valley with great weather most of the year. Enter property off 2906 Jonathan Creek Road at the “Do Not Enter” sign placed to discourage non-guest from entering my two pull through camp sites. I have two electric hook-ups for $20.00 a day with prior approval. One 30 amp and one 50 amp, electric only with first come, first served. Property is located about three miles down Jonathan Creek road (A divided four lane highway) from either direction. Coming in from Exit 20, you will have to make a U-Turn just past my home, yet the turn around in the divided four lane highway is large enough to support a 45' RV with a toad behind it. Arrival and departure times are flexible. There are RV dump stations located at several near by campgrounds. Those camp grounds do charge a small dump fee.

Location

Both parking spots are drive through with plenty of room for towed dinghies and slide outs. There is a shared fire pit available for guest use during their stay. Both parking spots are pull through for easy entry and easy exit. The site to the right of the firepit in the outer circle is for the longer rigs. Fire wood is available for donations. I have outdoor camp chairs around the fire pit for guest use. There is a donation box for firewood and upkeep of my RV sites and road way, however, donations are not required if you are on a tight budget and can not afford to donate. Just come to stay and have a great visit with lots of places to see and things to do.

I am a Boondockers Welcome Host who also opens my two pull through RV sites to Harvest Host guest who also belong to Boon Dockers Welcome. My RV entry road has three signs on the post that show a "Do Not Enter" sign, a sign stating "Private Drive" and an "orange tri angle slow moving vehicle sign". Both my sites are pull through with the site to your right of the fire pit reserved for the longest rigs. This is a self contained RV site, however, I do offer one 30 amp and one 50 amp electrical hook up for $20.00 a night. In the summer months, I offer water to top off your fresh water tanks and there are several RV parks nearby that offer RV sewage dumps for a small fee. I furnish a large round metal fire pit with camp chairs around it for your use while staying. I furnish fire wood for a voluntary donation fee of your choice with a drop box for donations for the firewood, electrical usage, maintaining the road, etc. The only fees that are not donation are the electrical usage fees of $20.00 a night if power is requested, as the local electrical prices have tripled this past year. I am a retired Federal Agent. I have been RVing for 45 years. I have a law degree and am originally from Florida but have been to all 50 states as well as all over the world. I do not currently have any pets. I have never used drugs and never drink and drive. I am also an Army combat veteran and former helicopter pilot. I ride and own motorcycles. Currently, a 2023 automatic Gold wing tour trike and a 2023 Honda 1100 Rebel automatic, A Tesla Model S Plaid, Jeep Gladiator 4x4 Pickup Truck and a Toyota Highlander. I own a Winnebago Travolta van camper, four mountain ebikes, a kayak and a paddleboard and a helicopter which I do not keep on my property due to restrictions. There are tons of fun things to do in this area and great dining near by.
