Welcome to our BW site page. Due to the number of cancellations we have had our calendar is open 14 day out for stay requests. We ask that our guests arrive before dark. If this does not fit your schedule consider looking elsewhere. Please make sure you have an informative bio and a photo of yourselves before making a stay request. Think of it this way, if you met someone on line what would you want to know about them before you said hey why don’t you come to my place? Lack of this will equal a declined stay request. Please make any correspondence including stay requests between the hours of 7am and 10pm CST. Please be mindful of the time zone you are in when making a stay request as we receive messages and stay requests in real time via text. Shared and maintained rock driveway. Parking site is rock and level. Back in parking. RV style electric pedestal (20/30/50 amp) and water is available. Tow vehicle parking is next to the rig. Dedicated parking spot is next to the pole shed and the woods with a view of the field and woods. You may see deer, turkey, fox and other woodland animals. Verizon cell signal is not the best but the jet pack works fine. Note: If you are caravanning with another party we may be able to accommodate two rigs. Suggested Local Attractions: St. Louis is about 30 minutes away. The Great River Road, a National Scenic Byway, starts in Hartford, IL to Grafton, IL. Cahokia Mounds. Check websites of attractions as some are only open late in the week or weekend. Edwardsville is home to the Wildey Theater. A restored theater that hosts many classic rock bands, tribute bands and more.

Dave and Marcia were absolutely phenomenal hosts! Dave's communication was extremely thorough and very timely. Their place is off the beaten path, yet easy to get to, secluded, and quite. The site was easy to get in and out of, with easy access to power & water. They were both super friendly (as was the golden retriever), and went out of their way to accommodate us. They even gave us homemade ice cream which was very delicious. Dave even helped find out next fuel stop at a good price. You couldn't ask for better hosts. If we are ever in the same area, we will definitely try to stay there.

We stayed here for 2 nights about 6 weeks ago. It was lovely. We enjoyed our time exploring the area and had a quiet place to relax in. We enjoyed our time visiting on the front porch. And the ice cream 💖 Hosts are very communicative and accommodating. We had a few problems with our trailer stemming from a blow out. They graciously helped with fixing those problems and referring to a tire store. We hope to be able to stay here every time we are heading to our daughter’s. Thank you!

Very good communications, easy access, super kind hosts. We were met by David and Gracie, super sweet golden retriever who loves to play ball. Level gravel lot with 30 amp and I think 50 as well. We used the 30 for our Whitehawk with no issues. City water, with great pressure. Mature trees with a beautiful home. Stay could not have been better! Our host even came out to see us off in the rain. Super people, we can't wait to come back to visit with them.

Such wonderful, incredibly kind people who treat you like family from the moment they meet you. Only stayed one night, but it was a wonderful spot, quiet, beautiful view, forest behind the spot, night sky brightly filled with stars. Couldn't have asked for better hosts or location.
