We have a 1-Acre lot that is surrounded by a 99-acre property that has peaceful rolling hills and if you are lucky you will see the local herd of deer or flock of wild turkeys. The site has trees surrounding it, giving you privacy and protection from wind (pictures to follow this spring 2022) The very peaceful area is close to HWY 35 but far enough not to hear it!! We have one spot available for 45-foot rigs dry camping with plans for water and hydro availability in the near future. Close to the Burnt River, Fenelon Falls, Bobcaygeon, Cameron, and Balsom Lakes. 40 min from Haliburton Highlands. 90 Mins to Greater Toronto Area. ATV and multi-use trails 5-10 mins away that you can ride all the way to Haliburton(permits required).

My wife and I are getting ready for retirement and want to travel all over Canada and the United States in our New 2002 Grand Design 278BH 5th wheel. Traveling throughout Canada in the summer months and heading south for the winters. We both have lived in Ontario our entire lives and only visited Quebec so we can' wait to see what the rest of our great country has to offer! We hope to use Boondockers Welcome a lot to help keep our finances reasonable and to meet like-minded people.

Thank you Bryan and Judy for making our stay so relaxing. The views were wonderful and we appreciated the private, grassy & level parking spot. Their knowledge of the local area was helpful and we took advantage of it all. Enjoyed the visits about camping, our RVs and places we have been and future must sees. A great spot and would highly recommend if you’re in the Fenelon Falls area. Will definitely go back when back in the area. Barry&Lori Woods.

Quiet location, beautiful remote area, minutes from hiking trails. The hosts were not there but made sure to contact me numerous times while on the way to guide and make sure I got there safely. That said- note that Google doesn't recognize the (valid) address, and when I used the coordinates instead, still took me to the wrong road (15m away from my destination), so I had to call the very accommodating host for the last segment of my way. If you're coming with a >20' trailer, I'd suggest to back into the property and not head in and try to maneuver inside, as that could be a hassle with the trees. Thank you for your hospitality!

A wonderful spot to getaway from it all. A tall line of cedars seperates you from the house snd there is a field on the otherside. Nice and secluded. Wonderful friendly hosts. You are close to Cococonk which is 7 minutes away and Fenlin Falls is 20 mins. Close to ksyaking in Coboconk and only 20 mins from Balsam Lake Provincial Park. Great commication with the host for directions. Highly recommend this location. Thank you for the yreat stay. Virginia and Bob Till we meet again

Brian went out of his way to come down from his cottage and get us set up and organized (said he had to cut the grass anyway), then told us we get too warm to pull the cover off the pool and jump in to cool off. Location is flat and private with lots space to get in and out of easily. Great spot to explore the towns of Fenton Falls and Bobcagon as well as the Trent-Severn canal system. Recommend these hosts and this location to anyone travelling in this area.

This was my very first Boondockers experience. Talk about setting the bar high!! Woodland Hideaway is a prvate, beautiful piece of property. Fully eqipped with adorable ground hog family, rolling hill sunsets and lastly Judy and her husband as hosts. We were secluded from the main residence by a row cedars - private and quiet. Communication was clear and very helpful. Once we were settled in Judy brought us warm popcorn and a couple of cold drinks. We happily visited with Judy and time flew by. We didn't want to leave :) I would HIGHLY recommend this property and can't wait to have a reason to return. Thanks again to the Wood family. Laura
