We have about 4 acres outside town. Our back 2 acres is a grassy field. You have to maneuver through the open gate to get there. I have no trouble with a truck and 30 foot trailer and a 37 foot motor home. It's not fancy, but you could call it a country location. We are about 2 miles from NAS Fallon and under the flight path. If you like airplanes it's good - if you don't, the noise can be annoying if you think you'll sleep in the daytime, especially during the week. If you park close enough in we can get limited water and limited emergency power to you. Winter presents special challenges. We are 3 + miles from "downtown" Fallon. Google earth will give you a looksee! There is water and a holding tank dump facility at the Churchill County Fairgrounds, an easy country 3 miles from here. Dump is $5.00 and Water is $5.00 as of 12/2/17 NOTE: Elsewhere the system asks for stay and notice requirements, without any ability to add notes. The fact is that all of that depends. It depends on whether we're going to be here, for example. We are retired and may decide to leave. A simple message or call and we can talk about details. Same day is OK - if we get the request and are here. It ALL depends. Reasonableness is the key here. Suggested Local Attractions:It's a small town, but decent restaurants, shopping (Walmart, Safeway), and small casinos in town. There's a small museum in town and several historic BLM areas outside town.
Vehicle Suitability Information
Electric Hookup: 15A
Separate Tow Vehicle Parking
Outdoor Cooking Allowed
Access Road Conditions: Paved up to the property with a 200 foot dirt section around the corner, then through a gate of sorts to the back field. There's precious little rain in Nevada so mud is not "normally" an issue. A little steering is required to get through the gate into the back field. The uploaded picture is an old Google Earth view and is not current. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We're on near 4 country acres with a lot of stuff around. There are boats, RVs and cars stored. No problem finding a place in the field to park and probably around the rig. Note:*** Water is not available in cold months because of weatherization. An extension cord can normally be run out to the field, if required. Winter conditions can be challenging, as most RVrs know.

Very nice host, very responsive communication, knowledgeable of area and a joy to talk with. We have a 37 foot class A and use Boondocking much more often the the typical large motorhome. I threaded the needle getting our 37 foot rig in the spot but not easily. The ground was level and in October covered with some knee high dry plant with burrs that clung to you shoes and pants and irritated bare skin. This location is more rustic than you might expect compared to most Boon Dockers welcome locations. We are thankful Roland welcomed us and appreciated his kindness. It is special to get to hear and see the jet fighter from the famous Top Gun Navy training center from your site. They only flew in daylight hour on our visit so the noise didn't impact our sleep. Cheers.

Super quiet, level parking, easy access even pulling a trailer. Roland was very helpful, The jets from the nearby air base were loud, but only for a few minutes, and they didn't fly over night at all. Highly recommend!

Roland and his brother were just the nicest people and were so accommodating of my late arrival. This was my first night in my new van and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
